Sarah Birtles and Shaun Diaz (SBSD) were set up on a ‘blind dance date’ nine years ago and have never looked back. Sarah and Shaun have since established an impressive resume; performing, teaching and competing throughout Australia.
Some of Sarah and Shaun’s professional highlights include dancing on Channel 9’s The Footy Show, the Dirty Dancing Tribute Show and Underground Melbourne as well as various corporate gigs and performances. Sarah and Shaun are currently undefeated Victorian Champions in Freestyle and Cabaret as well as have numerous wins and placing at various other competitions throughout Australia and New Zealand, since their partnership began in 2012.
With 15 years Modern Jive experience as well as backgrounds in ballet, jazz and contemporary, Sarah and Shaun are passionate and enthusiastic teachers who enjoyed sharing their knowledge and skills with other dancers. Sarah and Shaun regularly teach classes, privates & workshops as well as being highly sought after for choreography.
This will be Sarah and Shaun’s second trip back to New Zealand’s Simply Wellington; where they can’t wait to be back on the dance floor with the Kiwi dance community!
