Amy and Dave have been dancing and teaching together for 12 years. Amy is a lifelong dancer with a ballet background, known for her grace and skill. Dave is an obsessive nerd with a passion for finding and communicating interesting ideas. Together, they’re unabashed dance geeks who spend most of their free time developing new and creative ways to teach modern jive. When they aren’t flying around competing or coaching, they’re busy running the Western Australian Social Dancers Association (WASDA) over in Perth.

They’re known for their smooth, effortless style of modern jive, their focus on fundamentals, and their philosophy of care and respect in dancing. They love to draw teaching material from a wide variety of sources, and it’s rare for their workshops not to involve a bunch of science-based tricks and shortcuts.

David and Amy are bringing us two of their workshops; Rounding the Edges, and Come a Little Closer.
