We’re delighted to announce that iDance’s very own Keita and Tyro will be running one of their fabulous beginners workshops.
This year Keita & Tyro will be teaching their workshop You, Me, and the Music.
Keita got introduced to Modern Jive when it was still called Ceroc in Wellington. From that first intro she was pretty much hooked. Life though, got in the way and she didnt get back to classes for a while. When she managed to get back on the dancefloor she had an epic amount of fun and felt welcomed by its vibrant community.
Her more recent focus has been, with the help of some awesome humans, to make the dance community feel like a whanau, all across the motu. He taonga rongonui te aroha ki te tangata!
Tyro says “I’ve been a regular dancer in Welly for the last 8+ years and a teacher for the last 4. I’m super stoaked to be back at Simply this year as it’s one of the dance highlights of the year for me.“
